Tryon Hounds will celebrate its Centennial during the 2025/2026 season - one hundred years marked by tradition, camaraderie and fun. The Tryon Hounds Centennial Committee is planning a very exciting year filled with special events and quality memorabilia to mark this milestone! We are looking for lots of input from our membership!
The Projects
1. We are publishing a beautiful Coffee Table Book to chronicle the history of our hunt - we have already started collecting photos, stories, and memories. Please look through your albums and collect your memorable stories and quality photos to share with the committee. Use this form to submit a brief overview of photos or stories you have that will enhance our book, and to upload photos!
2. We will kick off the season long Centennial Celebration with an Art Show Gala focused on ‘Country and Sporting Life’. We are asking people from throughout the community to loan us original art (paintings and sculptures) for inclusion in this curated show. Please take a look around your home and see what gems you might want to share for this special evening. Snap some photos and submit details about your piece(s) by using this form. Please submit one form for each item you would like considered.
3. We plan to put a "Spotlight on our Members" on the Tryon Hounds Facebook page to generate community wide interest in our Centennial. Use this form to tell your story so we can put the Spotlight on You! You can even upload a favorite photo!!

This is an exciting time for both longtime members of Tryon Hounds and newer members. Please join us in getting the party started!!
Riding members (past or present) - Tell us your foxhunting and riding story! You can include info about your background, your favorite horse, some favorite memories and/or funny stories,when and why you started riding with TH, what sets TH apart, other memorable hunts you rode with, other disciplines you participate in etc!
Social members (past or present) - Tell us your story about joining TH, your favorite TH events, any favorite memories you'd like to share, and/or your favorite things about living in the Tryon area.
